Past Layouts Version 1 Version - Original Dragon A great and talented friend of mine drew a picture that I was allowed to use for my site. I eagerly got to work with this image and this layout sprouted from this lovely union. I was pretty pleased with it. The navigation was done with an image map and an iframe. I slowly started to use some CSS but it wasn't much yet. But although the image was truly amazing and the design wasn't that bad I soon grew tired of it. I tried to mould it in a table design first but I failed in that as well. - View - Version 2 Version - Crystal Blue My first table layout for the site turned out to be a really good one, though it still used an iframe. This was the first layout that I was truly happy with. I loved the blue colour is this one so much that I named the layout after this colour. My site started to grow a lot with this layout because I finally dared to show my site to the outside world. CSS was really used in the development of this layout. And I just loved Sherazard. But still it didn't feel like I had found a representative for my site. And that's really important to me - View - Version 3 Version - Sh-Shocking Pink I started thinking that maybe I didn't need a representative. I made an abstract layout. The colours were black and pink, my favourite colour combination ever! I really did love this layout and the colours were wonderful, I got a lot of compliments about the colours. My site grew and grew. I met great people and got some wonderful sister/affiliate sites. This site was the first layout with my new host Cryptor Child and they supported PHP! So it was byebye Iframe and hello tables! After a while I made a splash page that featured Paine from FF X-2. Although I had never even played the game I like her a lot and found that her attitude was exactly what I was looking for. - View - Version 4 Version - .NET With my first really representative came my domain! I received www.eternal-dragon.net for Christmas from my papa! And I had started to love Paine so much that I used her in the header for my site this time as well. And that's how E-D.net officially became a Final Fantasy inspired graphic site and domain. I've always loved the series and I found that they really did wonders for my layouts and ideas. - View - Version 5 Version - Blue Pain(e) This was the second layout for my domain and the first one for my site. I switched back to the blue that I had used in my second layout because it matched the image I had used for the banner. I didn't add much specials to it, I kept it simple and clean and I loved it very much. Only later did I start to mess around with some effects and things like that. - View - Version 6 Version - Fire of Passion The layout that didn't last long at all. I was very happy with it in the begining but the more I looked at the the less happy I was with it. It was a layout that features Paine (duh!) in her Black Mage dress sphere. I surrounded her in fire (I got that idea after looking at a few screenshots of Vivi) and named the layout Fire of Passions for obvious reasons. Version 7 Version - Shiny Wings First layout in a while that I used different colors. I used a grey and a red color that I got from the image itself. The image was a wonderful screenshot of Paine in the Thunder Plains FMV. When I saw it I just knew I had to do a layout with it. So I did ^_^ I named the layout Shiny Wings due to a part from the song 1000 words. - View - |
